DRESS FOR SUCCESS!

Common Dress Expectation

In order to maintain a safe environment the School Site Council (SSC), English Language Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) and  Parent and Teachers Association (PTA) members voted to implement the following common dress expectation: 

For their safety, all students must wear:

• Black or Khaki Pants/Skirt (no jeans)

• Green, Black, or White Polo Shirt

For students’ safety, we do NOT allow:

• Student cell phones

• Hats/Bandanas

• Red or blue clothing such as:

  • sweaters

  • jackets

  • shoes

  • belts

  • jewelry

  • etc.

Students must dress for success by having their shirts tucked in. Students should also wear closed toe shoes.  Sandals and Crocs are not safe or appropriate for school. 

The common dress will be implemented and enforced daily beginning on the first day of school. Parent cooperation and support in helping students comply with this request is a necessity and highly appreciated!
